Format and Instructions for Authors

There are four presentation formats available:

  • 15-minute oral presentations for doctoral students in their second year or above.
  • Short presentations: One slide to be presented in three minutes. For first-year doctoral students who wish to present their thesis topic and link it to the theme of the day.

15-minute inter-lab presentations: How does it work? Here, you note down the main themes of your research (here) and find one or two doctoral students with whom you would like to collaborate on a shared topic. This experiment aims to develop links between laboratories while addressing a shared scientific question.

  • A0 poster sessions.

After the JED, we plan to organize a traveling exhibition featuring all the posters at our three universities.

The organizing team hopes many of you will respond to this invitation. It is a great opportunity to showcase your work, exchange ideas with peers, and practice scientific presentations in a friendly, supportive, and stimulating atmosphere. Those who do not wish to present their research are also welcome. You can attend the event as an observer, talk to other young researchers, and participate in informal discussions about doctoral studies and research.

We look forward to seeing you, whether you are presenting or not, and sharing this day together!
